Set of 3 transferware tiles, c 1890. Sepia on cream-swags, bows, griffons, and an urn frame a scene depicting apple picking. These are leftovers from my dining room fireplace. We mixed and matched antique transferware tiles, many had small dings like these, which are barley noticeable when grouted. Beautiful crazing. Use as tiles or trivets. Please see all photos.
