MY HOUSE - The Lavender Ghost
The Lavender Ghost is the name that we gave to our 200 year old home. We documented an extensive renovation on Instagram @thelavenderghost starting in the spring of 2017. In stewarding this house our intention was to preserve all original detail and update the rest. This provided an opportunity to bring in a highly functional kitchen and modern bathrooms. We have an extensive collection of artwork and textiles. The white walls were chosen as backdrop for these objects. We are constantly in awe of the wavy glass, the constant stream of sunlight, and the space and peacefulness this house provides. No place has ever felt more like home.
